Circuit Judges

West Virginia has 65 elected circuit judges in 31 circuits.  For the names of current judges, go to the Roster of Elected Officials.  For a list of counties in each circuit, see Judicial Offices.  Contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court of a county in which the judge serves to obtain detailed contact information for circuit judges, or visit this link on the WV Supreme Court web site.

Family Court

Family court judges are elected.  Contact information for court judges is maintained by the Supreme Court Administrative Office.
 

Magistrates

West Virginia now has 158 magistrates -- two were added by the Legislature in 2001 each serving within one county.   Magistrate offices may be contacted through the Magistrate Clerk of the county.  For magistrates' names and other contact information, visit this link on the WV Supreme Court web site.
